Today's shooting at Cafe Luna featured several new faces and showcased the talents of cake artists Tray Post and Nancy Linstead. Tray brought in a stunning, polka dot fondant cake for a shot in our restaurant montage featuring Cherlin and Lexie Moore. I had the opportunity to photograph Lexie jamming on Jaron Eldon's one-of-a-kind guitar before setting up for the next scene. Thanks again to our fellow producer, Christine Spritke, for catching so many great moments on camera throughout the day.
Kim Mulligan, Jeff Merrill and Veronica Burgess joined Krista Reckner and Rodrick Hersh in the afternoon. While we worked out front, Nancy was busy in the kitchen preparing for our final scene to be shot after sunset. Though the shoot was changed to a tech rehearsal due to a family emergency, it was thrilling to see Nancy's creation in the candlelight.
