We are so excited to have
the opportunity to work with
Studio West for our sound
design and audio post
production.
Over the past month, each
actor has come to Studio
West's recording studio to
do ADR (Automated Dialog
Replacement or "looping") -
recording their dialog again
to get good quality sound.
This was a lot of fun to do!
Thanks to Gary Miranda and
Mark Kirchner for piloting all
of these ADR sessions. (Mark was present in most of these ADR sessions, but managed to hide from the camera in almost every shot. He must be a ninja!)
Each actor goes into the sound booth alone to record their lines. One of the challenges of ADR is to be sure that performances of different actors match each other in any given scene. Gary spent several hours with us to select the final dialog track.
