Meeting Nicole Gangale, the proprieter of Cafe Luna, has been one of the highlights of working on this film. As patrons we had swooned over the Rosetta Pasta and the intimate,Tuscan feel. We had Cafe Luna in mind while developing the script, and thanks to Nicole's gracious hospitality, the majority of our scenes will be filmed here. Today we are shooting the climax of the film: Chef Nicholas is burning the filet. It feels criminal to burn a filet mignon in such a beautiful restaurant, but it had to be done (it was actually a piece of chuck trimmed to look like a filet; we refer to it now as the "stunt steak")! Thanks again to everyone at Cafe Luna who made us feel at home. Update: Cafe Luna is now under the management of Susan Haywood. The Rosetta is still on the menu and still keeps us coming. Congrats, Susan! |
Well Done involved so much teamwork from incredibly generous, yet seriously talented people. We wanted to showcase some of the moments that happened behind the scenes. Whether you love to make films, or you love to see films, we hope this site offers something for you.
